You limit the space required by working with your database administrator, not by setting an OS limit. This type of limit will cause a failure in Oracle which may or may not corrupt the databases. Your DBA can set limits in the Oracle configurations.

I gave you a procedure for HP-UX.

Putting a quota in place without coordination with the DBA will most likely lead to Oracle locking up and crashing.

Oracle is configured to take more space when it needs it.

If oracle datafiles are set to auto-extend they will grow if there is diskspace.
The DBA can disable in Oracle the auto-extend for the datafiles. This way it will not grow.

However Oracle produces Archivelogs that could eat up diskspace. If you disable archive log creation, the Oracle is quite static, when it comes to diskspace.

Only the Oracle event logs could be growing but you could trim or rotate them every night...

Setting diskquota for oracle is not a good idea.
