recovery tape

Server in A is RP 84 and B is N series (both HP boxes). then can make recovery tape from RP 84 be used for cloning N series.

The answer is, most probably yes. If you are using some PCI cards on the N class machine which are not used on the rp8400, you may find them not functional on the N class but should not be a problem to enable the drivers and get them going again. Just have the application software CDs close-by.
