Hi,

Is it possible that in the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log the "Memory Information" lines will be missing?

Yes, for example when the system has been running for a long time and the syslog.log file has been trimmed (using SAM or your site-specific log archiving procedure), or if the syslog daemon has been restarted (in which case the data from before the restart will most likely be in file /var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log).
