truss from a script

I need to "fire and forget" truss from a ksh script.

eg. /usr/local/bin/truss -eafo /tmp/vktmtrace/VKTM_truss.out -p 24239

Using the & or && after the command doesn't help... Some command like spawn orso??

Who has the key / solution??

Why not? It seems to work for me. Perhaps you also need to use nohup?
