iwwwとowwwアカウントについて

ユーザアカウントについて質問です。

HW:C8000

OS:HP-UX 11i

初期アカウントとして

iwww(UID=102)

owww(UID=103)

が設定されていました。

このユーザは何か意味をなすユーザでしょうか。

既存環境のUIDがぶつかるのでできれば消去したいと思いますがどなたか情報をお持ちでないでしょうか。

また削除が不可な場合UIDを変更する

などで対応可能でしょうか。

セキュリティ強化の HP-UX です。

だとすると以下のように iwww と owww は非常に重要です。

そのままにしておいた方が良いです。

Outside Web Server

The outside web server requires read access to the files it serves to outside clients (such as the outside HTML and GIF images that are part of the application). It should not have write access to those files, nor should it own those files. The outside server runs as user owww and group www.

Inside Web Server

The inside web server requires read access to any files it serves to inside clients (such as HTML and GIF files), but it should not write those files, nor should it own any application files. The inside server also requires execute access to any CGIs that it runs (such as the netmark-admin program) for inside clients. The inside server runs as user iwww and group www.

補足ですが、

Apache Ver2.0.48から、webproxy機能が追加されており、こちらでもiwwwとowwwアカウントを使用しております。

UIDの番号自体には意味は無いらしく、OEインストール時に空いているUIDを使ってしまうようです。

UID変更後、findでUID=102,103のファイルのオーナーを変更したことがありますが、特に問題はでていません。
