DAT drive Automatiically getting ejected

hi, what is the DAT media you are inserting? is it a DDS2, DDS3 or DDS4 media?

think sun netra t1120 is the workstation for the telco model. the dat drive could be a dds3 drive:

it should work with a dds3 media. if it does eject the media, either the media is bad, unreadable or the dds drive is bad.
