E 2/20 library firmware

How can I check (and eventually upgrade) firmware version for a E 2/20 Ultrium library?

Are drivers and robotic firmware different?

Hi, I think you can see it using html access to library. Or in front display in information menu, you have firmware revisions options. there you will see your F/W version.

Ultrium drives: E15V

Are these latest releases?
Where can I download more recent version?

Hi, I don't know how or if you can upgrade drivers, and I don't know also the latest release.

But I have found this:

here you can download latest F/W version, that version is 1330.

Hi again.

In this document, you can see that HP recomends to upgrade to E15V firmware version, this doc is dated on 07 Nov. 2001. Probably this is the lastest version.

for update the firmware you must use HP Library & Tape Tools V2.7
