SDLT 320 GB problem in windows NT4.0 (urgent help)

I have a tape drive SDLT 320GB use windows NT4.0 the porblem I am running trough is that:
no backup option when I try to backup. but the tape is being detected at the device manager. please any help very urgent...

What tape device is it?

Windows NT4.0 has NT backup tool for backups

I am using NT backup for the backup, but still.

Is it possible there is some other backup software installed that is preventing the use of NTBACKUP ?

I know that in Windows 2000 and 2003, "Removable storage service" needs to be running, mabe is the same for Windows NT
