from vparstatus -v , I am not able to see boot and altboot set.
when I try to boot from vpar1,
#vparboot -p vpar2
vparboot: Booting vpar2. Please wait...
vparboot unable to boot vpar2: no primary boot device.
What should be done to up the vpar2?

Re: one vpar down
Do you have any configuration information from a time when the vPar was working normally? If so, check it and see what the boot disks were defined as. You can then use vparmodify to set the BOOT and ALTBOOT disks.
If this is an itanium server another option is to use the command:
vparload -p vpar2 -E 0
from the MON> prompt.

Re: one vpar down
Looks like vpar2 has no memory assigned.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
