VLAN 10 become vlan dix

Hello

I  have a switch HP 1820 48 port J9980A  ... so the problem :

VLAN==>configuration ==>  i  was configured VLAN 10 in 2020 but now in 2021 , i find that VLAN 10 become vlan dix (  string of characters ) !!!! ??

so i don't understant this change !!

i wait a reply and answer from expert switch HP that i find in 2021 more change for interface configuration switch HP 1820 !!!!

Hi @dhikra !

VLANs can't have names, they use only numbers from the range 1-4094. If you see 'dix' which in French is '10' instead of number '10' I guess you have some kind of weird translation service in your browser that modifies the output. I can hardly imagine it, but let's assume some bug converts number '10' to a word, but why will it use French??? Why not English? BTW, do you have French locale installed in your OS or do you use French language at all on this computer?

First, try different browsers and see if that 'dix' won't automagically become '10'. If that won't help, install Google Chrome and start it in safe mode or at least use Private Window and test again. If thay won't help, try different PC.
