Apollo 4510 Smart Array Controller Field Upgrade
Hi Everyone.
Apologies if this was already covered.
I have a client to whom we are deploying a 4510 Gen10 unit. The device shipped with its 2*Smart Array Cards, Factory Installed. Both cards are P408i-p SR Gen10 Controllers.
There is a need to connect this unit to a MSL2024 now and a P408e-p SR Gen10 Controller was procured and subsequently fitted.
The client would rather have all 3 cards as opposed to a swap.
Additionally, Factory installed, there are 2 Networking cards installed in the chassis, one being a BCM57414 10_25GbE Adapter and a QL41401L 10_25GbE CNA.
Can I facilitate the 3 Smart Array cards and the networking with the introduction of any additional hardware, or is the swap my only option.
If anyone has a working model of connecting a MSL2024 to an Apollo 4510, I'd love to hear from you.
Please let me know if more details are needed.
