apollo 6500 (xl270d) gen10 server critical fault
Hello!
I am getting the same error as the link document below on my hpe apollo 6500(xl270d) gen10 server.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00127211en_us&docLocale=en_US
The problem is that the server is xl270d gen10 and the installed GPU is Nvidia V100 SXM model.
In addition, the 4 front LEDs blink 13 times as in the link, the boot does not work, and the following message appears in iLO:
Server Critical Error (Service Information: Runtime Error, GPU Board/Module, GPU Module VRD (01h))
When I tested it by installing another GPU board, the boot went through and I updated the 2024.4 SPP and when I reverted to the original GPU board, the symptom was the same. Based on the link, I searched for the CPLD of the device and the FPGA firmware of the V100, but I could not find it. Current CPLD version is 0x06.
Any ideas?

Re: apollo 6500 (xl270d) gen10 server critical fault
Hello @ kitt_ccw
The document is for XL675d and for HGX A100
For xl270d gen10 the issue seems to be with "PCIe GPU Tray"
Regards
