I have a 2012 R2 failover cluster for my Hyper-v environment. We use Data Protection Manager 2012 R2 to backup our VMs. This works just fine in our existing environment. We recently purchased a CS220 to replace our existing storage. When I move a VM to the cs220, DPM will not backup any of the VMs. Has anyone else been able to get this to work?
Thanks

Re: Data Protection Manager 2012 R2
Rob,
You don't say how this is configured (before/after would be useful)?
Is DPM on a physical or virtual machine?
What media are you backing up to?
What is the data path for backup data in your existing envrionment (where it works)?
Has this changed with Nimble?
I assume you are using the same DPM Server for the Nimble array.
Thanks
Phil

Re: Data Protection Manager 2012 R2
I had DPM 2012 R2 working on a 2012 R2 failover cluster, but we have since changed to Veeam, as Phil mentions there is no detail on your configuration.

Re: Data Protection Manager 2012 R2
Rob,
Excellent news, if you have some time and the inclination, I'm sure other community users would love to see how you configured DPM with Nimble?
Regards
Phil
