gp fualt/backup hanging
have had this prob. and got around it. prob. seems to steam from modern pc's being transfering data to fast.
one fix was to decrease sys. performance one bar in dispaly settings\advanced\performace.
also just found this one here, that if the ide channel has ultra66 enabled it sends the signal to fast.
fix i to go into bios, the on channel 1 disable ultradma and change the pio mode to 0.
havn't tried yet but i'm going to so i can have my speed back.
