Hi Guys
Guess this is the correct forum as my question(s) are regarding the HPE Alletra 6000 and dhci stack. I have implemented a number of succesfull dhci Nimble gen 5 dhci stacks mostly greenfield. I have an upcoming Alletrra 6000 greenfield dhci stack implementation coming up in the near future. I prefer to use a serial cable and the Nimble cli to setup the basic installation before finishing off with the web gui.
I have looked at the online view of the Alletra and see that the controller layout has changed dramatically (basically looks like a couple of DL380's are now acting as controllers). I am guessing the top controller is A and the bottom controller is B? I do see a normal 9 pin serial adapter on the "controllers" am I right in saying thats what I hook up to, to get to the cli for the initial installation?
I also see an iLO port but again I am guessing this is non functional?
Sorry if the questions sound a little dumb, but I'd rather get the correct info before I rock up at the customer and let myself and my comapny down :0)
Thanks in advance
Steve

SolutionJust remind that the DSCC registration need to be completed prior launching the dHCI setup with A6K.
Back to your questions:
1 - Top controller is A and bottom one is B
2 - Alletra 6K use DB9 as console port
3. - ILO port is reserved, hence covered with dust plate
