Hi
With the four Eth0 management ports on an Alletra 6030 controller, is it supported to use all four ports or just ports Eth0a and Eth0b? We planned to configure all four ports for both management and replication traffic - or would it perhaps be possible to use Eth0a and b for management traffic and Eth0c & d for replication traffic.
many thanks

SolutionYes. Or, "E, any of the above"
Just as with earlier generations, the HPE Alletra 6000 series (Gen6) can use any NIC port for any networking purpose. You may want to use just A&B for management and C&D for replication. In this manner, there would not be any bottleneck from a replication burst impeding the management traffic.
However, you could use all four ports for management and replication combined.
