Alletra 6030 iSCSI performance during cloning operations
Hello!
We are seeing an odd issue with our VMware environment when performinig high I/O cloninig operations where the ESXi hosts will lose access to the datastores. It lasts for around 10-15 seconds and some VM's will become unresponsive.
ESXi hosts are Dell Poweredge R740's with 4 qlogic 41000 series NICs connected over 25gb fiber. ESXi version VMware ESXi, 7.0.3
Alletra is also running NICs over 25gb fiber. OS is on 6.1.2.300-1042680-opt.
Performance is great throughout the day, but whenever we perform cloning operations from within VMware, we see issues.
Any thoughts, ideas or same issues being observed?
