I have a completed, operational dHCI stack deployed with a new vCenter and cluster. I assume I can treat the vCenter as any normal vCenter? I wish to shift some older 6.5 non HPE servers to the new vCenter to allow for VM migration and enable EVC on the new cluster, temporarily, I assume this can be done in a dHCI environment.

SolutionHi
yes you can treat it as any vcenter the main deference is the DHCI plug-in but
otherwise it is like any vcenter your limitations are from licensing and versions..
you can add older ESXI to the vcenter if your not limited by licensing.
as for EVC remember you have to shutdown all vm's to change EVC.
if vcenter is part of the cluster it is best to migrate it to another ESXI as you need vcenter to
change EVC. or use some other trick.
Regards
Give a KUDO if this helps

Re: Nimble dHCI vCenter questions
Thanks for the response. I managed to sort out my EVC mode.
