Hey,
Few questions please
1.
I have Nimble with version 5.2.1.1100-1027043-opt and I want to upgrade it.
After pressing the "Download" button it shows me version 6.1.2.500-1053701-opt
a. Can I update straight to this version?
b. Is there any downtime in the process?
2. I have another Nimble with version 6.1.2.100-1030182-opt installed and after
pressing the "Download" button it show me version 6.1.2.500-1053701-opt
But the "Download" button is greyed out and there is an error when floating with the mouse over the version number saying:
DECLINED_SUPPORT
What does it mean?
Thank you.

SolutionHello,
- 1a. Yes, you can update NimbleOS from 5.2.1.1100-1027043-opt to 6.1.2.500-1053701-opt and is supported.
- 1b. Nimble OS update is transparent to the host, hence no downtime is needed. The software update initially gets applied on standby controller , once it completes successfully, controller failover happens and gets applied on the other.
- Please note : HPE storage connection manager is installed on all of the hosts connected, it makes sure that HBA (iscsi/FC) time out values and multipathing parameters are set as per HPE recommendations.
- 2. DECLINED_SUPPORT means that the array does not have a valid support contract. Have you checked if it has expired recently ?
