Hello All,
I am trying to figure out why my storage suddenly prompted a Takeover with the standby controller.
I cant find anything on the logs. Is there anything else to be checked?
thanks,
Kate

Re: Takeover Occured on Controller
Kate. Thanks for posting your question first of all.
This seems like the standard answer, but calling support Toll Free: 1-877-364-6253http://www.nimblestorage.com/support/, or emailing them at support@nimblestorage.com will yield the best result.
They will likely request you to establish a secure tunnel to your system where they will issue commands in the CLI to determine the cause of the failover.
There are many reasons why a failover would occur, the most common being Firmware upgrades.
They should be able to help pinpoint exactly what caused this particular failover to occur.
Thank you

Re: Takeover Occured on Controller
We have a CS700 that has experienced the controller take-over issue.
Nimble informed me that it will be resolved in an imminent firmware release. I think it will be in 2.2.4.0 (and higher).
