After Setting Static Ip I cant Access Switch
I trying to get a small server up and going. I set a static ip in the server (24.120.47.184) and could not get the server online. I then put another static ip address on the switch itself (24.120.47.183). and the server connects with the internet and my other devies however im having other issues.
I can not connect to the switch. http://192.168.2.10 no longer works, the ip dont work... how do i connect to the switch now?
The router i had before when i pluged a static ip thats what all the computers read. Now just going to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ is reading my ip as 24.234.97.22.. shoudnt this be the ip thats givin to the switch?
One more side question is i see no way to open ports or do port forwarding... when i could see the config screen anyways. Is all ports open?

Re: After Setting Static Ip I cant Access Switch
it would be hepful if you could provide some more info about your netowrk and the switch. Could you post your switch's config? What are the addresses of the networks that attach to the switch?

Re: After Setting Static Ip I cant Access Switch
I use a cable isp. The modem goes straight to the switch. 5 Computers and a wireless router are hooked to the switch. Do you need the local address? not sure what your asking.
