HP 5412 Polycomm phones config help
Networks
VLAN 20 Voice 192.168.0.1/24
VLAN 30 DATA 192.168.1.1/24
The computer will be connected via the Polycom phones
LLDP will be enabled.
Sonicwall will be the main router
I need some configuration advice on the HP 5412. Whats the best way to configure it, I need to use ports A1-20, B1-20, C1-20, D 1-20 for phones and computers. Dont really to follow this, just to be able to use 92 ports for phones and pcs (shared).
Windows Based will be my DHCP server for both data and voice networks.
VLAN ID Name | Status Voice Jumbo
------- -------------------------------- + ---------- ----- -----
1 DEFAULT_VLAN | Port-based No No
20 Voice_VLAN_20 | Port-based Yes No
30 DATA_VLAN_30 | Port-based No No
vlan 20
name "Voice_VLAN_20"
no ip address
qos dscp 101110
voice
exit
vlan 40
name "DATA_VLAN_30"
no ip address
exit
Default gateway on sonicwall 192.168.0.1 subnet 255.255.255.0
Windows Data VLAN DHCP 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.250
Windows VOICE VLAN DHCP 192.168.1.2-192.168.0.250
I am having trouble with the proper config. The voice VLAN is suppose to be tagged and data untagged and all ports trunk the pass both vlan via same wire.
