Moving config file to new Procurve

I am moving to a new 2910al-48g and was wondering if the config file from the 2900 can be moved to the 2910? I have tried to no avail and the config on the 2900 is complex and I am not sure I can recreate it properly. Thank you for your help

The way to do it is to divide it up into logical chunks - access lists in one chunk, interface configs in another, etc...

 

Then apply the config to the new switch bit by bit and see what needs changing.
