autoloader 1/8 u960 + arcserve 11.5

we're using the above and at the end of the backup job eject then tape. This works but what we really want is to eject the tape to the mailslot so that no 1/8 front panel options need be selected.

any ideas?

That's a really common request but sorry due to the way the robotics in that library work the whole library is shut down when a tape is ejected so no remote eject method is available.
