DLT1 1280 8/16 STORAGEWORKS AUTOLOADER"DRIVE NEEDS CLEANING"ERROR
I have an Autoloader HP Storageworks DLT1 1280 8/16,with one left 8 cartridge magazine.T he server has win2003 with Veritas Ver 9 as the backup software. It has been reporting "drive requires cleaning" error & after that its logic goes crazy.I have tried to use a cleaning tape, after configuring a 'cleaning slot',but it will load as if cleaning then aborts the operation.
Any known issues with this error"drive needs cleaning" error of this autoloader?
