HP C1553 DDS2 Autoloader

Hallo,
my DDS2 Drive is the C1553 autoloader is defekt.
My question is now:
Can i change the old DDS2 drive with an DDS3 C1537A drive ?
The new size shud be 6x12GB(6x24GB)

you can call HP to check if there are any trade-in program for autoloader
