HP SureStore DAT24x6e Autoloader Magazine Stuck
Hi there,
Having trouble getting the magazine to eject out of the autoloader. From what I could gather on the HP support site, I should either be able to turn the unit off and eject, or force eject, but neither is successful. I don't have the tools to open the unit either.
The display notes an error 43 after a forced eject or error 59 upon powering the unit after the self test.
When I run HP Tape Tools, I get a successful communication test, but read/write test tells me I have no tape inserted.
Can anyone identify these error codes? I can't seem to find a list of them. Or can anyone recommend any tricks?
thanks

Re: HP SureStore DAT24x6e Autoloader Magazine Stuck
Mike,
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg50043.html . I think you can do nothing with it being tried http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg51173.html , without opening the box. Please call HP if you have warranty/contract for replacement unit
