surestore 24x6e does not load anymore

hi,
i have a surestore 26x6e. normally when loading the magazine i could select afterwards a slot to load , ...
now i only see which tapes are available and nothing more can be selected. i also have to force eject (some seconds eject button) to get it out again.

hptools say diagnostic and do not continue. not matter if changer or drive selected.

a call on supportline: i should repair it which is about 80% of new device. any other help?

Norbert,
please check if there's a tape in the drive already (maybe jammed).
Install HP Library and Tape Tools (this 'diagnostic' software you menationed), check autoloader status and run tests
