Could not start Ms Exchange Information Store & MS Exchange event

Yesterday, my exchange server stops working. Checking the services, i fould the Exchange information store and exchange event is not working. When I tried to restart the both services it says error.
When starting exchange information store,

"Windows could not start the microsoft exchange information store on local computer. For information, review the system log. If this is a non-microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 0".

Whe Starting exchange event,
"Could not start the microsoft exchange event service on local computer.
Error 1068:The dependency service or group failed to start."

When seeing the event viewer,

EventID: 7001
"The Microsoft Exchange Event service depends on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service has returned a service-specific error code".

Event ID: 7024

"The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated with service-specific error 0".

I found many articles, but no one could help me.

Help me please. Thanks in advance.

Too little info about the topology really, but you could start with

In particular note that running setup /domainprep could fix permissions problems.

But we need more information about your environment and in particular you should list the MS KB document ID's that you have already tried.

Version information about Exchange, SP?, Windows? etc are also helpful.

I have tried both the solutions above said by u. And I am using windows 2000 Advance server and Exchange 2000 server with service pack 3

Basically there are thre causes for the IS not starting

1) Missing disk-space for the store or logfiles

2) Permissions related problems (filesystem, registry, AD, etc)

3) Corrupt store or corrupt messages in the store. Offline defragmenting/repair may be necessary. Try offline defragmenting first since that is the lowest risk option and corrects the most common corruptions.

Thank god,

I recovered out from the problem. I reinstalled Exchange 2000 server again. I can recover all the mails without any problem.
