Help With HP XT983 in Windows 98 For AC97 Audio Device Mabey?

The problem is my integrated audio, I can't get it to work. I know how to use BIOS and all it's functions for I/O. Anyway When windows comes on It finds a PCI multimedia device, but I just can't seem to find the right driver. also I don't have a PCI audio card. I have a S3 graphics card and a 3COM modem. So I figured that sound which it the only problem out of a dozen I have already fixed must be the pci device. And according to HP I should have an AC97 Audio. But it dosen't specify weather or not it is intergrated or a card.
Someone please help me I am becoming def to the problem :~Ã

I think that'll solve your problem.

Your chipset is a VIA KL 133.
