Jornada compatibility with Palm OS software

I have a Jornada 540. Is there software to adapt Palm OS software to be compatible with Jornada?

I don't think there is a tool to adapt software from palm os to jornada use. But often software is presented for both. Another interesting fact: hp is considering to use palm os on jornada since a few months.
