kernel32.dll error with Ultima Online

I keep having a problem with Ultima Online as well as Diablo2 dealing with kernel32.dll. Everytime I reboot or close the program out at all after playing, when trying to open it again later I get an error saying uo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close everytime I click the icon to open it. I've checked all of UO's sites, no help there. Does the same thing with Diablo2 as well though.

Re: kernel32.dll error with Ultima Online

Hi Kakashi,

I'd bet that this problem may have something to do with, alternatively:

1-The graphic card or audio device. Have a look around the "Core Gamer" web pages and alike for a corrective patch, if any. Also note that some manufacturors (like ATI) have developed game-specific patches for their cards.

2-Settings put to your explorer, which may block the cookies required by the service provider. Also a special program, not yet installed on your computer, that this provider would demand for online service.

3-Disrupted connection during the loading process (guess a freeware like "Flashget" could help).
