My spacebar doesn't work

Hello...my computer keyboard's spacebar doesn't work...I tried using another keyboard but the spacebar still doesn't work...anyone know how I can fix this?

Do you have a USB keyboard or P/S2? Try a USB keyboard and get the correct drivers for your OS. There may be a bad P/S2 socket in your motherboard.
I'm not very happy with HP 6640c or this so called forum that has no answers to anything!
