OmniBook 510 - Modem Problem

Hi All,

I am having a problem in Omnibook 510 series. The problem is - Can not able to here the dialing sound while dialing. But the connection goes thr' fine and able to dial ...etc. Also enable modem speaker and the system speker is working fine...

Go into Modem Properties and adjust the Modem Speaker Volume higher.

I have already enabled the modem speaker and it is at its max level....

Have you upgraded/downloaded the driver recently? When you go to Device Manager, can you see the Modem Sound driver installed too and has no Exalamation Mark or question mark.
Please let us know.

and get the modem driver (if it's different than what you're running). You may want to upgrade the BIOS while you're there.

But finally able to solve after replacing the modem and it was defective and was luckily under warranty.
