Password reset - time delay

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to set a locked out account to reset after a specified time period elapses? (if someone locks their account - can it reset in 15 mins?) The box is a trusted system.

If so, how and can it be applied to the root account .

Thank you in advance

Hi John,

There is an "undocumented" parameter on the NET ACCOUNTS command that you can use:

/LOCKOUTDURATION:

Here's an excellent article that documents this "undocumented" feature!

Hi John,

One other thing on the NET ACCOUNTS command, this will modify the requirements for ALL accounts - you cannot specify certain accounts to apply this to.
