Hello everyone .. again ..
Just a question because I am not sure what the problem is ..
Just this evening when I was typing up a document in MS Works 8.0 my screen started to go a pale pink colour . This has not happened before . It seems ok now but not sure what may have caused this .. any suggetions ?? You always come through for me before .My computer is HP 725n Pavillion {still under Waranty} and the monitor {all purchased together} is Samtron 76V if this helps .If you nedd any more infomation just let me know . Thanks .. Maureen

Solution
This can happen if the video cable becomes loose, or pins are bent, static shock or surge to the monitor, etc.
If the monitor doesn't appear to be damaged, and behaves normal now, chalk it up as a surge or discharge of some sort, and don't worry about it.
If you start noticing a difference in the color hue, or that the video area is shrinking (black border becomes thicker) then get the monitor checked out.

Thank you for your help. I dd=id not thiink it was anything too seroious but just to be sure I decided to ask he experts. I will keep an eye on it as you suggested. Thanks again . {points awarded} Maureen
