Sound Drivers for a HP Pavilion 752n

I am having problems installing the Audio Drivers on this machine. I have installed Windows XP Pro on the machine. Windows is not finding a driver for the Multimedia Audio Controller. I have tried installing 2 different AC 97 driver installs from HP support and half way through it does a save dump and restarts. I am running out of resources. Can anyone assist me with this problem? The next step I was going to do was buy a cheap sound card and install it.

Does anyone know if they have drivers for this card for Windows 98 win98? TIA!
