Experiences with HPE GreenLake for Block Storage Alletra MP

Experiences with HPE GreenLake for Block Storage Alletra MP:

Our transition to HPE GreenLake for Block Storage Alletra MP has been marked by notable improvements in performance compared to our previous 3PAR systems. However, we've encountered challenges with management aspects.

While the local GUI version 2.3.1 offers some functionality, it lacks the comprehensive reporting capabilities we were accustomed to with SSMC for 3PAR. Additionally, the display of volumes in tile format is not ideal for our preferences; a detailed list view would be preferable.

Although the HP GreenLake Data Services Cloud Console provides more options, it falls short in terms of creating predefined reports. Ideally, we'd prefer to utilize it solely for reporting purposes, rather than system management. Furthermore, adapting to Volume Sets and Application Sets has presented a learning curve for our team.

We're keen to hear from other users about their experiences with the new GreenLake Block Storage and would like to initiate a discussion on this matter.

Hi Jan,

i agree with that.
It's best to use the feedback link in the DSCC, then this goes directly to Product Management.

The more the better.

I have used the feedback link in the DSCC and left my email for 2 times now but no response .

It is disapointing that HPE never reacts on feedback.

Just an FYI -- that will get some attention in an upcoming release.
