After secondary processor install it only shows up at 243mhz and not the 1.4ghz
We just added a secondary processor to a BL860c I2 blade. THe primary processor is 1.4ghz and secondary is the pn# for the expansion cpu, however, the clock speed is only 243mhz during EFI Post.
IS the processor bad or is there something I have to run at the EFI Shell level or OS to get the cpu to be fully recognized?
OR is the processor bad?

Re: After secondary processor install it only shows up at 243mhz and not the 1.4ghz
Please send the captured output where you have seen this.
Please connect to MP/ILO and do
CM:hpiLO-> sysrev
From running HP-UX please do
machinfo
should look like this:
# machinfo
CPU info:
Intel(R) Itanium(R) Processor 9340 (1.6 GHz, 20 MB)
4 cores, 8 logical processors per socket
4.79 GT/s QPI, CPU version E0
Active processor count:
8 sockets
32 cores (4 per socket)
32 logical processors (4 per socket)
LCPU attribute is disabled
... or this
# /usr/contrib/bin/machinfo
CPU info:
32 Intel(R) Itanium 2 9000 series processors (1.6 GHz, 18 MB)
533 MT/s bus, CPU version C2
64 logical processors (2 per socket)
Memory: 523770 MB (511.49 GB)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Please share the following to verify. (capture it in a text file adn attach here)
1.MP > CM > df -all -nc
