Backup Power Source Status in HP 836263-001 SMART ARRAY P204I-B SR GEN10

Hi,

I have one ProLiant BL460c Gen10 server which has array controller HP 836263-001 SMART ARRAY P204I-B SR GEN10 (4 INTERNAL LANES/1GB CACHE) 12G SAS MODULAR CONTROLLER, i want to set wirte cache here and cache ratio would be 10% Read and 90% write.  My bacakup power source status is "Present"

So My query is that is this confoguraion is okay and Server will not face data loss during power failure?  Please see details below

Hello Alok,

The default of 90% write, 10% read and is the best ratio for most workloads. Workloads that are highly sequential reads or reads from most recent writes, may benefit from a higher percentage read.

You can use HPE Smart Storage Administrator to re-configure the percentage of the cache to use for write caching. The default configuration on Smart Array controllers assigns 90% of the available cache space for write cache.
Flash-backed write cache (FBWC) uses flash devices to retain cache data and HPE Smart Storage battery to provide power during a power loss. The FBWC offers significant advantages over earlier BBWC systemsThe controller cache ratio setting determines the amount of memory allocated to read and write operations. Different types of applications have different optimum settings.

Kind Regards,

Re: Backup Power Source Status in HP 836263-001 SMART ARRAY P204I-B SR GEN10

Hi Harsh,

Thanks for the reply. The issue is that I need to change cache value on more than 50 servers. So instead of going into UI of every server I want to change using some script. I am using ilorest commands to upgrade the cache but it is throwing error while from GUI it is updating without issue.

The I am getting is below

    "Messages": [
      {
        "RelatedProperties": [
          "#/ReadCachePercent"
        ],
