BL20P G4 Proccessor not supported error.

Hi,

I have two BL20P G4 blades and i'm trying to upgrade the processor to the E5345 proccessor stated in the quickspecs.

But when I install the proccessor i get a message statig it's not supported on the intel 5000 series chipset.

Does anyone have any ideas why it's in the quickspecs but I'm getting this error message?

Intel 5300 support was added with BIOS 2007.06.28

I've taken the bios up to verison 2008.09.11 and it still gives me the unsupported message.

Any other ideas?

Unfortunately no. From service and maintenance guide it looks like there is only one system board for this server.
