BL460c Gen9 + HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2P 630FLB FIO Adptr + EMC VNX5700
Have any of you faced issues with EMC storage? One of our customers is facing issues with BL460c Gen9. Neither the server nor HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2P 630FLB FIO Adptr is not in EMC's compatibility matrix. ESXi is reporting intermittent path degradeds messages and VMware reported hardware is the suspect.
Around 23 servers have the same issue. OneView 1.20.03 and FlexFabric 20/40 are deployed in this setup.

Re: BL460c Gen9 + HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2P 630FLB FIO Adptr + EMC VNX5700
Hi, we are facing same issue, same EMC storage with blades Gen9 with same 630FLB adapter, the version of ESXi is 5.1 U3, as customer needs to integrate the new servers in existing environment.
For now we have put all the latest versions available on the server.
ESXi 5.1 U3 HP image from March
HBA Drives 2.710.70.v50.7
HBA FW 7.10.72
The degraded has disappeared but we still get the following errors in /var/log/vmkernel.log:
45 ScsiDeviceIO: CmdSN from world 21103 to dev "naa.6006016013302600b209a6ade7c2e411" failed H:0x7 D:0x0 P:0x0 Possible sense data: 0x0 0x0 0x0
As far as I could test, with ESXi 5.5 U2 it is working fine but customer will not accept this version.
Please let me know if you have done any further testing and have any results

Re: BL460c Gen9 + HP FlexFabric 20Gb 2P 630FLB FIO Adptr + EMC VNX5700
Hi,
I would suggest to open a formal support case with HP and provide the required logs (OneView dumps, AHS, VM-support,..) to fully review the systems side of the enviroment. There may be a patch/hotfix missing.
