Bl465c G5 Vs G6
I have 2 509588-001 system boards. One comes up as a BL465c g5 with 4 cores. The other comes up as a BL465c G6 with 6 cores. Is the only difference between a G5 and a G6 the processor?

Re: Bl465c G5 Vs G6
Steve,
It's not so much the server model or system board model; both servers can support up to two (2) processors and while the G5 supports quad-core processors, the G6 supports hexa-core processors. Based on your core count, I assume there is only a single CPU populated in either server.
