Boot from SAN and Synergy Virtual Connect
Hi, is boot from SAN supported on Alletra 9080 -> Brocade SAN Rack -> VC SE 100Gb -> Synergy CNA? When can i find documentation about it? The exact models of the products are not specified because i will use the supported ones if possible.

Re: Boot from SAN and Synergy Virtual Connect
Boot from SAN is a commonly supported feature in modern storage systems and server hardware. However, the specific configuration you have mentioned may require further investigation to confirm its supportability.
In general, boot from SAN requires the server to have a network interface card (NIC) or converged network adapter (CNA) that supports iSCSI or Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). The server firmware should also be configured to boot from the SAN, and the SAN fabric should be properly configured to allow the server to access the SAN storage.
To determine if your configuration is supported, I recommend checking the product documentation for each component of your system, specifically for any requirements or limitations related to boot from SAN. You might find the guides/documentation here: https://support.hpe.com/ You can also reach out to the support teams for each product for further guidance and assistance.
Hope this helps! Let me know...
