Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA status Offline
Hi,
I have few ProLiant BL460c Gen9 servers that show HBA adapter status as offline.
Model: ISP2532-based 8Gb Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA
Run ESXi 6.7
I have updated the HPE drivers as well. No luck. Just wondering this could be a physical device issue or not?
Any idea to fix this issue?
Thanks

Re: Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA status Offline
Hello,
I would suggest you update the server as below.
1. Update the server bios with the latest.
2.Updtae the ILO firmware.
3. Update the agentless management service (AMSD)
4. Follow the below link for more clarifications.

4.Update the 8Gb Fibre Channel firmware with the latest.
If the issue still persist, share the IML error as well as ILO snapshot for further investigation.

Re: Fibre Channel to PCI Express HBA status Offline
Have you tried an e-fuse of the server itself? I've seen odd issues, especially after upgrading the VC firmware to 4.85.
