boot on bl870c

how to boot on the integity server bl870c ?
I connect an external dvd drive and boot the server on OA administration but the server did not boot I see the led of the dvd blinking but no boot.
Thas the integrity server support the smart start cd?
I want to set up Raid system on my disk drive?

You probably have to access the EFI configuration menu and add a boot menu item for the external DVD drive. Then return to the main boot menu and use the new menu item to boot from the Smart Setup media.

This should allow you to access the EFI Based Setup Utility (EBSU).

No, but there is a smartsetup CD.

Is it a BL870c or BL870c i2?

This makes a difference, because of different RAID controllers.

It is BL870c i2, The OS is now Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.5.
