Hi,
We seem to be missing the link the for the Virtual Connect Manager..
I have been to Enclosure Settings/Enclosure IP Settings/IPV4/Interconnect Bays
Both Bay 1 and 2 have EBIPA address in there and they ping back ok.
They also have the tick in the enabled box.
The interconnect bays have "Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP" in them and they all work ok.
Firmware :
OBA - 4.90 - Dec 11 2018
BladeSystem c7000 Onboard Administrator Tray 1.7
BladeSystem c7000 Insight Display 2.4.3
Is there something missing?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: c7000 Blade Chassis - Missing Virtual Connect Link
what is the model VC modules in the Interconnct bays ?
what happens when you put the IP address of the VC module in the browser?
Can you attach the OA show all logs from the enclosure?

Re: c7000 Blade Chassis - Missing Virtual Connect Link
Hi
Thanks for responding.
The module in the interconnect bays are Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 for HP.
When I put the IP into the browser I get "Page cannot be displayed". I have tried firefox, chrome and IE.
I cant see any option to attach files.
When I goto Enclosure Information\Interconnect Bay Summay - the management URL is showing http://0.0.0.0
I am wondering if Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 actually supports VC? Maybe I need to set the management URL somehow. Unfortunately for me the server is 4000 miles away in a different country.
Are there any CLI commands I could try?

SolutionTo access VCM, you need to have Virtual connect Modules in the interconnect bays.
Cisco Catalyst Blade Switch 3020 modules cannot be managed by VCM. You should have atleast 1 VC module to access the VCM.. This is the reason why you do not see a link to VCM.
