I successfully upgraded VC FlexFabric firmware to 4.85 using the VCSU utility on a c7000 blade enclosure. All of the blades and communication infrastructure seem to be working fine. However, I am unable to connect to the FlexFabric management console. The link from the blade admin web page connects to nothing. I used to be able to connect to it. I could not previously make changes, because it requred Flash; hence the update in firmware. I am able to connect using the VCSU utility and query the details of the FlexFabic module. Is this the latest version for the firmware (4.85) and do I need to do anything to enable the management console? Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Re: Query: C7000 blade-Virtual Connect Domain firmware upgrade
I will try to reset the devices in order to get them in sync. Unformtunately, it will have to wait a week for the next off-business timeframe. I will report back the results to this thread.

Re: C7000 blade-Virtual Connect Domain firmware upgrade
Hi,
I hope you did refer to the "HPE Virtual Connect 4.85 Release Notes" before updating.
To upgrade to Virtual Connect 4.85, the minimum Virtual Connect Support Utility (VCSU) version required is 1.15.0
Thank You!

Re: C7000 blade-Virtual Connect Domain firmware upgrade
Yes, I followed the guidlines and used a compatible VCSU version. Ther upgrade was successful in that all connectivity between servers still works. However, I am unable to conect to any GUI page to administer VC. There is simply nothing present. I am unable to do anything with the FlexFabric unit.

SolutionHi,
Any error messages on the GUI page or Event logs?
If you are using a browser, have you tried the usual things like, clearing History, cookies, etc.
Thank You!

Re: C7000 blade-Virtual Connect Domain firmware upgrade
I had cleared cache and temp files on the Edge browser I was using, that was still not working. Per your receommendation I tried using Chrome and it worked! I am able to navigate and administer everything. I normally start troubleshooting with the basics like, "Is it plugged in?", "Is it connected?", "Is <Caps Lock> on?". I had not tried a different browser. I did some investigation and if I allow the connection to VC to run in compatibility mode within Edge, then it works as well.
So either Edge in compatibility mode or Chrome now works.
Thank you so much. Problem solved.
