C7000 Enclosure Fails to perform well after update to 2.21
Here is the HW Config:
C7000 Enclosure 3 phase fully populated with Fans and Power supplies.
VC 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 all have VC Ethernet modules.
VC 3, 4 have VC 4GB FC Modules.
After Updating the OA I cannot see the Firmware Maintenence tab. VC 7 shows a Firmware Mismatch error. VC 8 shows powered up however the VC Conection fails and I cannot connect to it directly. I tried updating the firmware of the VM Models. The process is terribly slow. I hit update and go to lunch and it will still be updating when I get back.
HP has asked me to Hard Boot the whole enclosure.
My question. Anyone see this before and what did you do to resolve.
Thanks!!

The tab is gone. Instead you have a link on the left.
It's under "System and Devices" en then under the "Rack Overview" link.

Try Virtual Connect Support utility to update the VC modules. Updater in VC manager works very badly =)
You can find me from Twitter @JKytsi

Re: C7000 Enclosure Fails to perform well after update to 2.21
It's under "System and Devices" en then under the "Rack Overview" link.
Above is the new change in the OA Firmware.
This is an expected behaviour so no need to worry.
What is the version of VC you are using?
Did you try reseting the OA?
If you don't want to Poweroff server can you try removing the OA Board and Inserting the same. Check does VC work?

Re: C7000 Enclosure Fails to perform well after update to 2.21
Will try the VC Update utility.
Yanking out the OA is an idea but I have heard of people's OA's shorting out when doing this... But if push came to shove I would.
Thanks all. Will try it out and let you know.
