C7000 ilo
Hi,
I need to enable FIPS on ILO. Once I do that it will reset ILO to default. Is there a way to reconfigure ILO without rebooting the entire c7000 chasis?
Does the ILO defailt settings goes to dhcp and any default credentaion on C7000?
Thank you in advance for any help and responses to query.
Thank You,
Chirag

Re: C7000 ilo
Hi I_onnet,
You will enable the FIPS on OA "Enclosure settings"
Is there a way to reconfigure ILO without rebooting the entire c7000 chasis? No
To enable FIPS, Virtual connect will be cleared. IF we take the backup of VC in Non-FIPS mode, we cannot restore it in FIPS enabled mode. So you need to reconfigure the VC manually after FIPS enabled.
Does the ILO defailt settings goes to dhcp and any default credentaion on C7000? Yes, The OA IP address will be reset to DHCP, you need to make note of static IP address before the FIPS, if any. Reconfigure it using OS display panel.
For more information, please refer this document, page no. 62 and 133.
